My business pledge

I hit a wall today. Literally, I mean.

I managed to score a big time project, the one I have been trying to secure ever since I started my little business. I succeeded in obtaining a project from a Master student. So far, all I did was completing projects for Diploma and Degree students, but projects from the upper level students are the ones that I look forward to the most. You see, for that kind of level, I have to really dig down hard in order to produce a perfectly constructed piece of work so that it will managed to be on par as the level it sits. Master programme students need to come up with a highly graded piece in order to be recognized and approved by the examiners, before obtaining their certificate. Therefore, it'll be a fresh challenge for me, as my writings were never before being scrutinized at such level. I have to be careful with my sentences and grammar, and at the same time, improve on whatever skills I have right now. It's time be very professional about it, and it's time to push myself to the limit.

That's where it hit me. In order to meet such expectations (which I myself illustrate), many aspects have to be put into considerations. I can't use mediocre styling, the ones that will easily passed any untrained eyes, or even examiners for less lower levels. The conscious arose when I finally realized that my customer's future where in my hand, and their level of achievement will be dictated by my performance. I certainly don't want to be having any part in deteriorating the standards of graduates in the university. These are the very people that will be our future leaders, and I don't want to create a bunch of students who are leaving all the hard part to other people and get away with it. It's easier for them, but in the long run, they will be missing some serious educations. This little business of mine is created in order to improve myself (life's not always about extrinsic rewards. It's not always about the money factor). But I really don't want to help any bum collects their rewards without any hardships and passion. I don't want to create a group of people who just refuses to work hard to achieve their dreams and goals.

Therefore, I strongly urge all my potential customers to do the researches before submitting their work to me. Do the learning, and I'm okay to do the writing bit. My job, as I like it to be, will be to connect the dots and place the missing pieces in order to come up with a presentable work. Please learn something guys. Be the kind of leaders who are capable of everything.

As for me, I pledge to come up with the best work all the time. I will be constantly monitoring my performance, and will try increase it from time to time, notch by notch. I can guarantee the highest quality every time. I will treat all my projects with the highest level of professionalism. It might just be a small thing, but I will be putting my very best in each and every single one of it.
